Protocores

From Love and Deepspace Wiki
(Redirected from Protocore)

Protocores are enhancements that can be equipped onto Memories to boost a memory's stats. Memories equip two different protocores depending on a memory's stellactrum type and slot type (Lunar/Solar). Players may also level their protocores to increase the protocore attributes for more powerful effects.

Protocore Types[edit | edit source]

Prototypes comprise of various colors and shapes. The shapes match with the colors found on memory's stellactrum types (e.g. A blue protocore can be used with Sapphire-type Memories). The protocore shape determines whether a Lunar or Solar Memory can equip the given protocore, detailed in the following table:

Protocore Shape Name Protocore Shape Outline Memories Equippable On
α Solar
β Solar
γ Lunar
δ Lunar

Protocore Rarity[edit | edit source]

Similar to memories, protocores also have varying rarities of R, SR, and SSR. The color stripes at the bottom of the protocore icons denote which rarity.

  • R - Blue (Maxes at Level 9)
  • SR - Purple (Maxes at Level 12)
  • SSR - Yellow (Maxes at Level 15)

The protocore rarity impacts the protocore's max level and the attribute values, with higher rarity protocores having greater attribute numbers.

Protocore Attributes[edit | edit source]

A few factors influence the protocore attributes and attribute values including:

  • Protocore Type
  • Protocore Rarity
  • Randomness

In addition for secondary attribute values, randomness plays a part in determining the base attribute value within a certain range.

Protocore Primary Attribute[edit | edit source]

The protocore typing affects what primary attribute a protocore can have. The following table lists the possible attributes:

Protocore Type Primary Attribute Possibilities
α
β
γ
δ
  • HP (Flat)
  • ATK Bonus (%)
  • HP Bonus (%)
  • DEF Bonus (%)
  • Expedited Energy Boost (%)
  • Oath Recovery Boost (%)
  • Oath's Strength (%)
  • ATK (Flat)
  • ATK Bonus (%)
  • HP Bonus (%)
  • DEF Bonus (%)
  • CRIT Rate (%)
  • CRIT DMG (%)
  • DMG Boost to Weakened (%)

Protocore rarity changes the base primary attribute value as well as the attribute increases per level. The primary attribute values are fixed and not subject to randomness.

Protocore Rarity Primary Attribute Base Values
R SR SSR
HP (Flat) 500 750 1,000
ATK (Flat) 25 30 50
ATK Bonus (%) 1.1% 2.0% 3.0%
HP Bonus (%) 1.1% 2.0% 3.0%
DEF Bonus (%) 1.1% 2.0% 3.0%
Expedited Energy Boost (%) 3.0% 4.5% 6.0%
Oath Recovery Boost (%) 2.5% 4.0% 5.0%
Oath's Strength (%) 2.5% 3.0% 3.5%
CRIT Rate (%) 1.1% 2.4% 3.7%
CRIT DMG (%) 4.8% 7.4%
DMG Boost to Weakened (%) 1.5% 3.1% 4.7%

Protocore Secondary Attributes[edit | edit source]

Unlike primary attributes, protocore typing does not affect what secondary attribute a protocore may have. Instead, the protocore possesses 2-4 of any of the possible attributes as secondary attributes. Protocore rarity then affects the secondary attribute base value range, with higher rarities having higher ranges, which the protocore then randomly selects a value in between.

Protocore Rarity Secondary Attribute Base Value Ranges
R SR SSR
HP (Flat)
ATK (Flat)
ATK Bonus (%)
HP Bonus (%)
DEF Bonus (%)
Expedited Energy Boost (%)
Oath Recovery Boost (%)
CRIT Rate (%)
CRIT DMG (%)
DMG Boost to Weakened (%)

Protocore Enhancement[edit | edit source]

Players use Core Energy and Gold to enhance protocores, which then increases the attribute values on the protocore. Primary attribute values increment every level. On the other hand for secondary attributes, every three levels, one random secondary attribute will either be generated (if less than 4 attributes) or enhanced.

Protocore Decomposition[edit | edit source]

Players decompose protocores they no longer desire to gain Core Energy. The Core Energy can then be used to enhance other protocores.

When Wanderers of a high threat level are eliminated, they drop Protocores. After years of research, the methods of extracting their energy have become very advanced. Protocore Energy is now used in various fields such as electronics, healthcare, and space. Utilized effectively, Protocores can enhance combat capabilities.
