Combat mechanics
This is a general overview of how the Combat Mechanics work.
How to prepare for a battle[edit | edit source]
Every battle comes with different types of information that will crucially impact the difficulty.
Types of Wanderers[edit | edit source]
There are 3 types of Wanderers
- Normal
- Elite
- Boss
Normal wanderers are the most common wanderers and are also the only type that take the full damage you bring. Normal wanderers have no weakened state.
Elite wanderers are wanderers with shields. The damage they take severely decreases when they have their shields on, but take more damage when their shields has been broken, entering a weakened state.
Boss wanderers are the strongest wanderers of all. They have a much higher HP bar, twice as many shields to break and often come with unique features and attack patterns.
Protofield Stellactrum[edit | edit source]
Field Fluctuation Warning[edit | edit source]
Some battles have modifier effects that can either increase or decrease the difficulty. These appear as a red or green icon under the battle's name.
Increased Difficulty (Red Icon)
- Cornered Retaliation: The Wanderer will deal more DMG the lower its HP is.
Decreased Difficulty (Green Icon)
- Advancement: Increases CRIT DMG of all allied units.
- Overflowing Energy: When companion's Energy is fully charged, he deals increased DMG in a short period of time.
- Resonant Pursuit: 8 seconds after being Weakened, enemies take 100% more DMG from all sources except Ardent Oath. This effect is removed when the Weakened effect ends.
