Memories are the main collectible in the game featuring art of each Companion. Teambuilding revolves around selecting and upgrading memories to determine combat power.

Memory mechanics[edit | edit source]

Memories have several category types including: Featured Character, Rarity, Stellactrum Type, and Slot Type.

  • Rarity can be 3, 4, 5-star, with the most powerful being 5-Star. This determines the stats and upgrade materials of the memory.
  • The featured character will be one of the Companions.
  • The Stellactrum Type will be either Ruby, Amber, Emerald, Sapphire, Violet or Pearl. These determine the type of materials needed to upgrade the memory.
  • The Slot Type is either Solar or Lunar, and determines the position the memory can take when building a team. Solar memories will also have memory pairs for further boosts. Solar memories have additional combat boosts and rewards when ranking up with their memory pair.

Upgrading Memories[edit | edit source]

Memories can increase their attributes in three ways: Leveling, Ascending, Awakening and Ranking Up.

  • Leveling uses Bottle of Wishes to increase a memory's EXP.
  • Every 10 levels, a player must use materials to ascend a memory in order to continue leveling.
  • After a memory reaches the max level of 80, a player can awaken a memory to increase attributes. Awakening a memory gives it a gold border.
  • Players can use duplicates to rank up a memory as well. A fully ranked memory will display an iridescent effect on the memory.

Protocores can be equipped to memories to further increase their attributes.

Memory Pairs[edit | edit source]

Certain 4 and 5-Star Solar memories have a letter combination assigned to them. Memories with matching letters are a memory pair. They give additional rewards when ranking up, as well as the following Pair Bonus buffs in combat:

I Starting Effect: increases team DMG by 5%. Starting Effect: increases team DMG by 8%, and reduces team DMG taken by 8%. Additional effects vary based on Memory Pair.
II Duo Rank 1: boosts Ardent Oath charge by 10%. Duo Rank 1: boosts Ardent Oath charge by 20%. Additional effects vary based on Memory Pair.
III Duo Rank 2: reduces squad DMG taken by 5%. Duo Rank 2: increases Energy Charge cap by 1. Additional effects vary based on Memory Pair.
IV Duo Rank 3: increases squad DMG by 5%. Duo Rank 3: increases team DMG by 8%. Additional effects vary based on Memory Pair.
