Claw Machine

Claw Machine is a minigame in Playtime where players and their chosen Companion control various types of claw machine games to obtain Plushies. Every week, players get three attempts to play the claw machine games.

How to play

There are four types of claw machine games to choose from. In each game, the player can choose to control the claw machine or ask the Companion to control the claw machine. The player can Cheer for the Companion and View as the Companion controls the claw machine.

Each attempt at playing the claw machine has five rounds. One round is completed at 30 seconds or when the player presses the catch button. When the Companion controls the claw machine, there is a chance there will be more than five rounds.

Standard

Claw Machine - Standard Controls

The standard claw machine is one of the three-prong claw machine games.

1. Maneuver the claw with the joystick.
2. Line up the claw with the target plushie. (There is a circle at the bottom of the claw machine to help target the claw.)
3. Press the catch button to drop the claw for a chance to obtain a single plushie.

Balance

Claw Machine - Balance Controls

The balance claw machine is one of the two-prong claw machine games.

1. Maneuver the claw by tapping the Left/Forward buttons. (Each button can only be pressed once per round.)
2. Press the catch button for a chance to obtain a plushie.

Fun Wheel

The fun wheel claw machine game is unlocked at Lv. 40 and is a more difficult version of the Standard Claw Machine by having the plushies rotate in a circle.

Dynamic

The dynamic claw machine game is unlocked at Lv. 40 and is a more difficult version of the Balance Claw Machine by having the plushie move from left-to-right.

Plushie Rotation

The plushies obtainable from the Claw Machine rotate weekly. Players can also obtain a Companion's exclusive plushie when playing Claw Machine with them 5+ times.

In addition, the more plushies from the same series a player collects, the greater the chance that a special color version from that series will show.
